Access from Mtunzini via the twinstreams road, passing the puttputt and holiday resort forest lodge, continue around 10km towards Fairbreeze mine. Once you get to the back of the mine, you will encounter a resurfaced gravel road with new barriers and new road signs. You will get to a Tjunction. Take a left into the mondi plantation and carry on for around 2km. You will get to a dead end at the end of the plantation. You will see an off beaten track leading into the coastal forest area, take it and just follow the route. The road requires 4x4 as its sandy. Once you get to the last dune park your car, and enjoy the beach. The beach is seldomly visited by others, other than nudists and fishermen. Its generally safe, but take valuables out of your car or lock in the trunk. There is no facilities nearby. Cellphone reception may be poor unless youre on the dune. The beach is sometimes littered with debris and driftwood. There is no trees or shade. Take an umbrella.
