Not officially authorized but the beach can be clothing optional if you park at the state park day use lot and walk north on the beach towards Ocean City, MD. Thong swimwear is common on both men and women from the parking lot. Once you have walked past the state park boundary and on the National Park side,nudity is very common. You will need to watch for walkers and park staff traveling up and down the beach.
