Canaveral National Seashore, near New Smyrna · Space Coast

Getting there. The clothing-optional tradition is at the north end of Canaveral National Seashore, near parking lot 5. Federal seashore; entrance fee. Long, wild, undeveloped beach.
Rules on the ground. National Seashore; clothing-optional by long custom at the north end, not an explicit designation. Rangers generally tolerate it in the customary area — be discreet.
If it is your first time. Wild, uncrowded, and beautiful. The walk from lot 5 thins the crowd. Bring everything you need — no services out here.

Hutchinson Island, St. Lucie County · Treasure Coast

Getting there. Officially designated clothing-optional in 2020 by a St. Lucie County vote — about 36 acres of the park on South Hutchinson Island. Park at the Blind Creek lots off A1A and walk to the designated stretch.
Rules on the ground. Officially designated clothing-optional by St. Lucie County (2020). Legal within the designated section — one of the few U.S. beaches with an explicit county designation.
If it is your first time. Quieter and more natural than Haulover, and just as legal. Volunteer-kept and welcoming. Bring water and shade — it's an undeveloped park.

Geiger Key, near Key West · Florida Keys

Getting there. Remote end-of-road beach near Geiger Key, southeast of Key West. Not sanctioned; clothing-optional use is informal in the remote stretches. Rough parking, no facilities.
Rules on the ground. STATUS UNCERTAIN — not an officially sanctioned nude beach. Informal/tolerated only, and use has varied. Confirm locally before you count on it.
If it is your first time. Off-the-radar Keys spot for the self-sufficient. No services, no shade — pack in everything and pack out everything.

Bal Harbour / Miami, Miami-Dade · Miami

Getting there. Miami-Dade's officially recognized clothing-optional beach. The nude section is the northern third, between lifeguard towers 12 and 16, in Haulover Park off Collins Ave. Paid parking lot right there; underpass to the sand.
Rules on the ground. Officially sanctioned clothing-optional by Miami-Dade County — one of the only legally recognized nude beaches in the U.S. Stay within the marked section (towers 12–16).
If it is your first time. The most established nude beach in the country — big, friendly, well-run, with volunteers from the beach association on hand. Easiest possible first-timer beach. Go on a weekend for the fullest, most social scene.

Jupiter Island / Hobe Sound, Martin County · Treasure Coast

Getting there. Informal clothing-optional use has happened in the quieter stretches near the Hobe Sound area on Jupiter Island. Not designated; low-key only.
Rules on the ground. STATUS UNCERTAIN — not sanctioned. Any clothing-optional use is informal and tolerated at best. Verify before relying on it.
If it is your first time. Low-confidence, unofficial spot — go respectful and discreet, and don't expect a scene. Blind Creek to the north is the designated, reliable option.
