Getting there. Parking is available at the Conundrum Creek Trailhead off Conundrum Road near Aspen, followed by an 8.5-mile one-way hike gaining approximately 2,500 feet to reach the springs. Overnight camping in the area requires an advance permit.

Getting there. The world's largest hot springs pool — a block-long mineral pool (plus a hotter therapy pool) on the Colorado River. Family classic, open year-round.
Rules on the ground. Public hot-springs pool — swimsuits. Ticketed; lifeguards; standard pool rules.
If it is your first time. The big pool is warm and social; the small pool is hot and calm. Winter soaks with snow falling are the move.

Getting there. Accessible via County Road 36 to an on-site parking lot with a short walk to the pools, requiring advance reservations as well as 4WD or snow tires/chains from November 1 to May 1. Local shuttle options from Steamboat Springs and a ~3-mile hike via Forest Service Trail #1169 are also available
